Olympic genes unite in Nalegro's pedigree. For example, the Gribaldi son Painted Black is known as the sire of Nalegro. The preferred Painted Black has performed very successfully at the highest level in dressage and took part in the Olympic Games in London with the Spanish Morgan Barbancon. Nalegro's mother, the star PROK mare Jalegrofleur, descends from the preferred sire Negro. Jalegrofleur is the full sister of the world famous Valegro (by Negro). Valegro is the most successful dressage horse ever under Charlotte Dujardin. Double Olympic gold in London 2012 (individual and team) and Olympic gold in Rio de Janeiro 2016 (individual), European Champion, World Champion, 3x current World Record holder, winner of World Cups and KWPN horse of the year 2014 etc. The mother of Jalegrofleur and Valegro is the keur mare Maifleur, a daughter of Gerschwin. Maifleur is the grandmother of international Intermediair-I horse U-Genius (by Utopia).
