Sweet KWPN gelding looking for his 5 star home!

Due to the switch to pony breeding, we offer our beloved Rio.

Rio (Euphorio) is a beautiful, expressive gelding, born in 2009, of approximately 1.67 high. His pedigree is San Remo x Rohdiamant. It is a horse with a wonderfully uncomplicated character.

He is easy to time and always gives his rider a good feeling. However, he is looking for someone who can clearly show him the way. He likes clarity and is not into gray areas.

We have had Rio for over 10 years now. During that time I did the Horse School training with him at Paard Centraal. But we also did many outdoor rides, hikes and TRECs. We also participated in the Freestyle competition. We have trained at M/L level in the past. This is based on the training methods of Athletic Horsemanship.

What characterizes Rio is his willingness to work and open character. He likes to be the first to come to you for some attention. With us he has always lived outside 24/7 among our broodmares, foals and other young horses. He is therefore very social in the herd. We think that Rio is suitable for almost every rider. He would also be very suitable for the transition from ponies or as an all-round training horse.

He has been standing still for a long time, but has been picked up by Agnes van Rijswijk since September 2023 in Rio. He has always been to the farrier, dentist and vet and has been dewormed on time. He recently had an additional check-up by the dentist, veterinarian and chiropractor.
