In addition to the sports inheritance of Sir Donnerhall I and Sandro Hit insiders regard a product of Sir Donnerhall I as gold for the dressage sport breeding. Sir Donnerhall I is known for his willingness to work and grandfather Sandro Hit for the blood, the suppleness and the canter. Sir Donnerhall I supplied more than 70 Grand Prix horses and, among other things, the approved stallions Cadans M, Mister Diamond and Lantanas and is listed as a grandfather KWPN stallions Mclaren and Lamborghini U.S.  

Upper Don is the first foal of Jamanda II (Alexandro P x Upperville): a full sister of the controversial stallion Henkie, winner of the 2016/2017 stallion competition, with Olympiad rider Adelinde Cornelisse at the World Championships for Young Horses in 2017 as a five-year-old 6th and in 2018 8th became. Henkie is now Small Tour qualified.

Mother Jamanda II has the star predicate (8 trot) and passed the EPTM dressage test with 75 points, with 80 points for the trot and posture and balance scores. The keur sport grandmother Jamanda (Zep) is in Z-dressage released. A half-sister of the mother is the elite mare Merci-Jamanda (Almoretto).  

The  preferent performance grandmother Beaujamanda (Upperville) is a half sister of 20 year old performance mare Amanda II (Farrington) who gave us 15 foals, of which 14 (12 fillies!) from Alexandro P. Almost all were born as foals and three-year-old invited to the national inspection: Flip (champion 2010), Godiva (reserve 2011 and 2015 at keur mares), Hanna (2012 reserve and 2015 champion), Ida (2016: reserve), Jo (2014 champion), Kaya (2015 champion, 2018 reserve), Layla (2016 reserve, 2019 champion), Mia (2017 champion, 2022 reserve), Nina (2021 champion), Rosa (2021 reserve). Meanwhile, Layla-Amanda is competing in the Prix St. Georges was released and Mia-Amanda qualified and placed in the Z1 Nina-Amanda successfully completed a good IBOP under saddle. Also the approved Small Tour stallion Jupiler S (Charmeur x Jet Set D) and ZfdP approved Louis Vuitton alias Hey Henkie (Hermes x Cabochon), who qualified for the World Championships for Young Horses with Sascha Schulz come from the same mother line.  

Where Henkie is known for his attitude, step, We benefit from the strength and mechanics (over the knee) of movement in Upper Don added via Sir Donnerhall (Sandro Hit) canter and suppleness.  
The originally bred, intelligent and sporty built Upper Don has a special genetic breeding value as he is free of blood of Jazz, Ferro, Krack C and Gribaldi blood.
