New Pleasure VDL x Beaujolais

Father New Pleasure VDL convinced at the KWPN Stallion Inspection with his excellent conformation and modern way of jumping; He excels through athleticism, good reflexes and a lot of overview. Treasure Blue Joy has a cooperative character and he comes every day in the hand, halter on/off and walks on a rope. Furthermore, neatly dewormed, vaccinated and chipped. He has a KWPN passport.

Mother Tarentina was used for breeding after she passed a successful EPTM test. That this was a good choice is evident from the fact that she is now a performance mare. Her eldest offspring all compete at 1.40m-1.60m level. Tarentina comes from a direct branch of the Oldenburg sport line 160, which also includes the Grand Prix stallions For Edition I (by Forsyth FRH) and Ramanoff (by Ramino). Tarentina is a very sweet and calm mare.

Grandfather Beaujolais may not be the most famous stallion, but he did produce very nice horses that wanted to work. He fathered Gere, who competed in Grand Prix dressage with Anky van Grunsven and is the dam's sire of top sire Krack C. He also produced several approved stallions who have jumped internationally up to 1.60m. Beaujolais' father is the foundation stallion Lucky Boy xx, he brought essential thoroughbred properties to breeding and was of crucial importance for modern dressage and show jumping breeding.

Grandmother Obertina, elite mare, produced Wendiena W (by Hold up Premier), who jumped 1.45m with Patrick Lemmen. The beams could also be set at 1.45m for Zita (by Hold up Premier). Furthermore, daughter Anky (by Baloutbet de Rouet) has jumped 1.35m and she now has offspring who compete in the 1.30/1.35m. Havanna (by Cantos) received very high points for her EPTM test. She received nines for reflexes and attitude, among other things. Debora (by Numero Uno) produced a son and daughter who jump at 1.50m and 1.40m respectively. Moreover, there is another remarkable appearance in the dressage ring. Jaguar (by Negro) is currently competing at ZZ-Licht level.

Great-granddam Gargentina is best known for her son Alwin Z (by Ahorn), who achieved great success with Suzanne Tepper at Grand Prix level. She also produced the approved Zangersheide stallion Clinnus (by Clinton) and the seven-year-old Kasper who currently jumps 1.35m.

Progeny: Tarentina's offspring is doing excellently. Easy Money (by Verdi TN) successfully jumped 1.60m and ran several World Cup competitions with Odai Fuad Farhan Abu Hamdan (Jordan), but has now unfortunately passed away. Captain (by Burggraaf) and Gaby (by Campbell VDL) have risen to 1.40m level. In addition, Bernhard (by Indorado) jumps 1.35/1.40m.
In 2022, Tarentina gave a filly by Zirocco Blue VDL, which was sold meritoriously at the Limburg foal auction.
